The Bible tells us in John 3:16 that "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but shall have everlasting life." That is wonderful in its own right, but there is so much more than that. He is truly a Savior, our Savior.
He fills us with happiness when we can find no reason for being happy. "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full." John 15:11
He gives purpose to our lives. "Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men." Matt 4:19
He loves us when sometimes it seems the whole world is out to get us and kick us when we are down. "As the Father loved Me, I have also loved you" John 15:9
He is our defender against all who come against us, even if we are in the wrong. "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do" Luke 23:34
He is our salvation and out key into heaven. "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one come through the Father except through Me." John 14:6
There are many things in this world that can and will come against us, but there is hope. There is a way out. There is a Savior! If you want to know Him and you want to experience all the He is for us, all you need is ask for it. All you need is to pray this simple prayer:
"Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God. I need You in my life. I give my heart to You. Forgive me of my sins, and help me to live my life according to Your word."
Find yourself a Bible based church and begin living in the Glory of the Lord God.
